This Privacy Policy explains how the Trans Italia Container Operations Chrome extension handles information while providing its container and transport monitoring functions.

The extension is designed to work with the user's existing authenticated sessions on TX Logistik and CESAR Next. It does not operate an independent login system and does not collect account passwords.

1. Purpose of the extension

The extension combines operational container and intermodal transport information from TX Logistik and CESAR Next into one browser dashboard. Its functions include live status monitoring, storage analysis, container lookup, ETA/ETP information and data export.

2. Information accessed

When the user is signed in to the supported operator websites, the extension may access operational transport information needed to provide its functions, including:

container or loading-unit numbers;
customer and operator references;
transport status and status history;
departure and destination terminals;
transport, departure, arrival and pickup dates or forecasts;
train, wagon, pickup or TIN information when available;
weight and operational irregularity information when available.

3. Authentication and credentials

The extension reuses the authenticated browser sessions already established by the user on TX Logistik and CESAR Next. It does not ask for, store or transmit the user's passwords or login credentials to the extension publisher.

4. Local browser storage

Some settings, interface preferences, locally derived ETA history and temporary report information may be stored in the browser using local or session storage. This information is used only to provide the extension's functionality and remains in the user's browser.

Local browser data can be removed by clearing the site's browser storage or uninstalling the extension.

5. Data transmission

The extension communicates only with the supported TX Logistik and CESAR Next services as required to retrieve and display operational information. It does not use a separate publisher-controlled backend to collect this operational data.

6. Data sharing and advertising

The extension does not sell user data, does not use user data for advertising, and does not share operational data with unrelated third parties.

7. Remote code

The extension does not execute remotely hosted code. Executable extension code is included in the installed extension package. Remote operator services provide data only.

8. Permissions

Browser permissions are used only to provide the extension's stated functionality:

tabs is used to find, open and reuse supported authenticated operator tabs;
scripting is used to run packaged extension scripts on supported pages;
host access is limited to txcore.txlogistik.eu and cesar-next.com.

9. Limited use

Information accessed through the extension is used only to provide and improve the extension's user-facing operational functions. The extension's use of data is intended to comply with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the extension's functionality or data handling changes. The current version will always be published at this page.
